GAMLE LOGEN / OSLO (Nettavisen): Friday night, Gamle Logen in Oslo is filled to the brim with influencers and familiar faces, all excited if they run away with one of this year’s Vixen awards.
The finalists compete in 16 categories, in everything from food and travel to entertainment and fashion. But before it becomes known who will run away with the prestigious awards, the stage is set for a star-studded red carpet inside the party room.

Confronted with accusations
The couple Monica and Chris Nyhus were first out on the red carpet, and they made no secret of the fact that they were looking forward to the award ceremony.
– It’s fun to be here. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking, we are not so used to this red carpet, but it’s fun to be social, says Monica Nyhus to Nettavisen about tonight’s party.
On the red carpet, the couple was also confronted with the accusations they have had thrown at them recently, where they have, among other things, been accused of buying followers. They both stubbornly deny it. See what they say about the case in the video:
Vixen-debut
Leah Isadora Behn is only 16 years old, but has already managed to make it big as an influencer.
This year she is nominated for her first Vixen award, in the category Influences of the Year: Beauty. Naturally, she then also appeared on the red carpet – with mother princess Märtha Louse as moral support.
– I am very excited and nervous, and I am looking forward, she says to Nettavisen.
As mentioned, she has her mother Märtha Louse with her at the distribution, but she is not on the red carpet.
– I brought my mother because I had to bring an adult, and I have to have my mother behind me, says the 16-year-old, and adds that she has put her mother to work for the evening. Watch the video below to hear what the princess’ job is!
Surprised on red carpet
Fredrik Solvang is nominated in the category as the Strong Opinion of the Year, and appeared somewhat surprisingly on the red carpet. The last time he was nominated, he did not appear.
– It is shocking for me, and, he says to Nettavisen about his own attendance.
He further adds that he is present because he is nominated, and that it is after all polite and correct to appear then.
With him on the red carpet is Solvang’s nephew Jonas, who has probably had a small finger in the game as to why Solvang appeared this year.
– I probably pushed him a little, he laughs.
Alone on the red carpet
Liva Ingebrigtsen was also in place before tonight’s award ceremony, and she is among those nominated in one of the most generous awards – namely the people’s favorite.
She does not hide from Nettavisen that it is stasis.
– I was so surprised when I saw it. I do not know exactly what to say, I think it is so sick, she says, adding that she has not prepared any speech of thanks.
Ingebrigtsen has no children for the occasion, and it is her husband, Henrik Ingebrigtsen, who is at home with the children.
– Henrik is at home with the kids, because he travels to training camp on Sunday for four weeks. So he prioritizes some time with the girls before he leaves, she says.
Surprised in character
Comedian Odd Magnus Williamson was among the biggest surprises on the red carpet. He appeared in character, as “Tina” – known from “Tina and Bettina”.
“Tina” tells Nettavisen that it was she who started the video blog, and that she will therefore receive an honorary award tonight.

Sharing good news
David Eriksen is also at tonight’s party, and brings with him both his girlfriend and daughter. They can on the red carpet reveal a news that will probably make the fans cheer.
The family can in fact share that there is a new season of the reality series that made the Norwegian people sit down in front of the screens earlier this year, “Everyone loves David”.
– It will be a new season, yes. We may not be allowed to say that, but there will be a new season, says Eriksen to Nettavisen.
