Dozens of owners and staff of restaurants in Varna protested, blocking for about 10 minutes the traffic at the crossroads in front of the building of the Municipality of Varna, after which they marched to the Sea Garden in the city.
Marin Sotirov – Deputy Chairman of the Association of Restaurants in Bulgaria, commented that the certificates in the first place should be valid for state and municipal administration, and not be directed only against malls, gyms and restaurants.
Employees in the restaurant industry also went out in Plovdiv to protest against the green certificates introduced today. More than 200 people gathered in front of the RHI building in the city.

The new measures against COVID-19 come into force
In Pleven, citizens gathered to protest against the green certificate, this time in front of the District Administration. About 30 protesters expressed dissatisfaction with the introduction of the new covid measures with the chanted “Resignation” and demanded the lifting of the restrictions.
There was a protest in front of the municipality on the first day with requirements for a green certificate in Sliven as well. About fifteen people disagreed with the requirements and restrictions imposed in front of the municipal building with posters reading “The vaccine is a personal choice.”
