At the elite World Championships Letizia had already won five medals: in Apeldoorn 2018, bronze in the quartet (Balsamo, Paternoster, Valsecchi, Guderzo: 4’20 ”202) and in the Americana with Maria Giulia Confalonieri; at Pruszkow 2019, silver in the Omnium; in Berlin 2020, silver in the Omnium and bronze in the Americana paired with Elisa Balsamo.

Letizia Paternoster, thirty from Revò in Val di Non, was born on 22 July 1999 in Cles (Trento). She is 164 cm tall and weighs 53 kg, and on the road she runs for the Trek-Segafredo. She is predestined since the youth categories: as a junior she won 5 World Championships and 8 European titles.
