Once updated, users can call WhatsApp groups and can immediately join ongoing calls through the group. The call will appear in the chat list so the user can know which group has an ongoing call when opening the app.
The notification that appears will state the name of the group that is having this video call, not the name of the participating participant. WhatsApp provides lighter ringtones for Joinable Calls, such as when sending or receiving messages.
