The 45-year-old Brush is a politician for the Center Party. She said she supported vaccinating the population against Covid-19, but it should be voluntary, not coercive.
When journalists asked the minister if she was going to be vaccinated against Covid-19, Ota replied that this was a private matter and she did not have to account for decisions that affected her health.

“Attending cultural events is a very important part of the work of the Minister of Culture. If a person is unable to perform his or her duties 100%, then he or she cannot continue this work. ” considers Paets.
