TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Pandemic Covid-19 that hit Indonesia for almost two years had a significant impact on bus entrepreneurs.
As expressed by the owner Autobus Company (PO) Natural resource, Anthony Steven Hambali. According to him, his business operations are bloody in order to survive in the middle pandemic.
Anthony revealed that his business services, namely Inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) bus transportation to tourism buses, had difficulties in terms of occupancy and income.
Just imagine, before pandemic hit Indonesia, the number of buses PO Natural Resources which operates as many as 50 to 70 units per day.
However, during the epidemic Covid-19 spread, the number of buses operated was only 20 units per day.
“Condition pandemic like this the shrinkage is very much. Before pandemic can operate around 50 to 70 units per day. But currently we only have 20 units per day,” said Anthony in a virtual talk show, Wednesday (20/10/2021).
“(Especially when) the beginning of the pandemic, namely 2020, we really stopped operations. Because at that time it was forbidden by the government,” he continued.

The declining performance of passenger transportation, of course, also has an impact on the company’s financial performance.
Anthony said that his party had sold a number of fleet units PO Natural Resources to fulfill operational activities.
He also complained, selling buses in the future pandemic is not an easy thing.
