A limited series of Ferraris, produced in only 210 units. One of these cars is in the hands of Mercedes boss Toto Wolff. Indeed, it was, since it was sold (signed by the manager) to a new lucky buyer; not everyone is able to grab such a piece.
La Rossa del Cavallino in limited and special edition has a new owner. We do not know how much the supercar was sold for, but it is not difficult to hypothesize that Wolff may have obtained from a similar jewel more than 3 million euros, practically double the purchase price.
The Mercedes team principal, Ferrari’s biggest rival on Formula 1 tracks, has sold this precious piece, even autographed. It is a LaFerrari Aperta, and it was the British specialist dealer Tom Hartley junior who specifically took care of the entire procedure for the change of ownership. As we have anticipated, the selling price is secret, it has not been revealed at all. However, considering that what Wolff paid for the purchase is 1.6 million eurosbeing a valuable collector’s item, it may have been paid double by the new buyer today.
The following announcement appeared on social media: “A few weeks ago we announced that Toto’s LaFerrari Aperta has been sold, passed to its new owner, but not before Toto himself had signed it for its new caretaker! Thanks Toto ”. The units realized of this unique example of the Prancing Horse there are 210 in all, it is the supercar that derives directly from the coupé version of the hypercar launched in 2014. Wolff has decided to autograph the vehicle, leaving his signature under the front hood, as we also see in the images that appeared on his Instagram profile.
The car was in the Mercedes manager’s garage hardly ever being used. Let’s not forget that Wolff is in charge of one of Ferrari’s major rival brands in motorsport, and therefore he would never have been seen around at the wheel of a supercar produced by the competitor.

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is inspired by the lines of the Ferrari Enzo (another specimen that Wolff has decided to put up for sale). Car hybrid equipped with a 6.2-liter V-12 engine with 800 hp and 700 Nm of torque and a 120 kW electric unit that adds 163 hp, for a total of 963 hp and over 900 Nm of torque. Supercar capable of reaching 350 km / h and sprinting from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds.
