In a show on state television Russia 1, Putin’s supporters commented on a video from the forum showing the presenter – cross-legged – playing with her high-heeled shoes, stretching her leg towards Putin, neatly brushing her hair, and he licked his lips sweetly against the president as he delivered his speech.
Much of the Russian public has accused Gamble of deliberately distracting Putin in order for him to lose his mind and get confused, the Daily Mail reports.
Asked by the media for comment that Gamble or her employers from CNBC would make, there is still no answer.
In the opposite position is the majority of society in the United States.
“The ridiculous attack by the state media in Russia on the appearance of an American journalist was just a smokescreen for what really angered the pro-Kremlin media: it was not Hadley Gamble’s dress or her legs, but her questions,” Davis wrote on Twitter.
