Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,738 analyzes were carried out and 134 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 134 new cases, 83 are from Montevideo, 26 from Canelones, 5 from Maldonado, 5 from San José, 4 from Colonia, 3 from Rocha, 3 from Soriano, 2 from Tacuarembó, 1 from Lavalleja, 1 from Paysandú and 1 from Jump.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,715,703 tests have been processed and 391,167 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 383,562 have already been recovered.
Today there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country. So far, there are 6,069 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 1,536 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 16 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total confirmed positive cases, 9,447 correspond to health personnel. 9,346 of them have already recovered, 73 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 391,044. Today 134 new cases and a total of 391,167 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 11 cases were eliminated.
