Mexico City. In the past 24 hours, 96 deaths were confirmed by Covid-19, for an accumulated until today of 284 thousand 477 people who have lost their lives due to this cause, while the trend of the epidemic curve maintains its downward path, with less than 24 percent in the period from October 3 to 9, compared to the previous week, indicates the report of the Ministry of Health.
By this afternoon, the number of people with the onset of symptoms of the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection dropped to 32,136. It represents 0.8 percent of those who have had the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in the country.
Hospital occupancy remained unchanged between Sunday and Monday, reaching 25 percent in general beds and 21 percent in those with a ventilator.
Regarding the advancement of vaccination against the coronavirus, the agency reported that 255,361 doses were applied yesterday. The people who have received at least one dose are 69 million 105 thousand 502 and of these, 74 percent already have the complete scheme.
