Sketches for Asterix’s unfinished album discovered | Art & Literature

According to Goscinny it is about twenty pages, half of an album. The script written by René Goscinny on a typewriter is entitled “Asterix in the circus”. The album should have been released chronologically after “Asterix en de Belgen”.

The daughter, who manages her father’s work, has found a few things in the family archives.

René Goscinny died in 1977. With Albert Uderzo, who died last year, he created Asterix in 1959. The adventures of the Gaul have been sold hundreds of millions of times around the world.
