Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has had little playing time during the start of this season. Sterling opened this week to test on games in another country and is rumored to be up for a transfer to Barcelona in January.
Teammate Bernardo Silva understands that Sterling is going through a tough period, as he believes that he also had periods where he did not get as much playing time.
– It’s crazy with the number of good players we have in our squad, and it’s tough when you are not allowed to play the minutes you want. It has happened to me and most of the other players here. You have to fight to get a place. I can also imagine that it is not easy for the coach to choose, says Silva according to the Daily Mail and continues:
– All players are important and we fight in four competitions. We want to win everything and we know how tough it is. This is only possible if everyone is in shape and prepared.
Manchester City are in third place with 17 points after eight games in the Premier League.
