Claudio Ranieri, making his debut on the bench at Watford, saw his promise to buy a dinner for the squad threatened early on, when Salah shot at the bar. In the 9th minute, Mané even postponed the hornets’ plans, scoring after an assist from the Egyptian’s trivela, who was unstoppable and has 9 goals in the last eight games.
Mané scored his 100th Premier League goal. He is the 31st player to reach it, the third African, behind Drogba (104) and teammate Salah (103 at the moment).
At 37, Firmino scored his first, Milner’s pass, scoring twice on 52. Two minutes later Salah did what he wanted against the Watford defense, to beat Foster again with a crossed shot, then equalizing Drogba in the Africans with more goals – 104. Diogo Jota, who was injured with the Seleção, did not leave the bench.
Liverpool lead the condition with 18 points, two more than Chelsea, who play later. The next game is against Atlético Madrid, for the Champions League.
