The TRE seminar, the first help in finding a business
In the context of the different startings, that of autumn and that of winter, our School offers registered students a seminar of business research technique, TRE, the first fundamental step in their course which consists in combining the acquisition of theoretical knowledge at school and that of practical skills in business.
The first thing to do, before going into concrete detail, is to listen carefully to the advice given by the professionals who lead this seminar on company research techniques. Too often – we want to say with confidence: most of the time – of course under normal conditions, that is to say which exclude the two difficult periods of confinement that we have gone through – most of those which do not succeed Not in this process put themselves in difficulty because they do not follow suitably the recommendations made to them in TRE.
The curriculum vitae, the tool to find your business
It starts as soon as the CV is written. Not that all must be alike, on the contrary: according to the candidate’s profile, but also according to the targeted professional sector, a CV becomes unique, it is the very image of the know-how but also of the interpersonal skills of the person whose speak.
To this search for quality is added a search for quantity. Not that you have to send your CV to anyone by following the list of all the companies in your region with your finger, but it is with the research of the company what it is with the prospecting commercial, more exactly direct marketing: identify a panel as large as possible and send its application massively, with the hope of obtaining in return several interview proposals. Contrary to what one might think, a large part of the positions created are thanks to spontaneous applications, drawing the company’s attention to a need for recruitment.
The Vocational Orientation Department
If our School, which was a pioneer in work-study programs in higher education, can boast of being able to present an average delay of only one and a half months between the end of studies and recruitment in a company, it can also claim the expertise of its Vocational Orientation Department, the DOP, in finding the internship. Even if the experience of this research is new to you, do not let yourself be overcome by doubt, trust those who will help you, and for the majority of you, you will be fine. Make a simple assessment: if our business research techniques were not efficient, our School would not exist, since it is as such a private company, making its turnover on the basis of the internships offered. by the companies themselves or spontaneously unhooked by its students: it is a win-win exchange, where each can count on the other.
