Just before he handed over the ministry to Anette Trettebergstuen, Abid Raja answered questions from Frp.

One of the very last things Abid Raja did before handing over the key to the Minister of Culture’s office was to answer a written question from the Progress Party’s Erlend Wiborg.

The FRP representative wanted to know why Abid Raja and the government did not condole or otherwise mark the death of the two artists. Westergaard and Wilks lived the last years of their lives with continuous death threats. For both, the reason was that they drew the Prophet Muhammad in a way that many Muslims reacted to.
