Jetsun Pema officially became the wife of the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, on 13 October 2011. Their second marriage was held in private in Punakha, Bhutan.
Jigme Khesar is so happy to be married to Jetsun Pema, his smart and talented idol. The man who was born in 1980 really admires the figure of his wife who he considers extraordinary, Mother.
“He is an extraordinary human being. Intelligent,” said Jigme Khesar, reported by Washington Post.
“Me and him have one thing in common, namely love and passion in the arts,” he continued.
Before getting married, Jetsun Pema and Jigme Khesar had been dating for a long time. Both of them decided to get married because each felt that they had found the right person to be their life partner.
“I’ve waited long enough to get married. But it doesn’t matter as long as you marry the right person and I believe you have married the right person,” said the Bhutanese king.

The woman who was born on June 4, 1990 has studied high school in India. Reported World of Buzz, Jetsun Pema managed to get an A while studying there.
While in India, Jetsun Pema studied many things, such as English, geography, economics, and history. Two years after graduating from high school, he began his higher education at Regent’s College in London.
Not only in academics, this woman who married at the age of 21 also likes art. Jersun Pema is known to have an interest in photography and traditional Bhutanese music.
