Situation report on coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay (10/13/2021)

Epidemiological report:

According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 10,937 analyzes were carried out today and 160 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.

Of the 160 new cases, 97 are from Montevideo, 30 from Canelones, 18 from Colonia, 3 from Maldonado, 3 from Paysandú, 2 from Lavalleja, 2 from San José, 2 from Soriano, 1 from Durazno, 1 from Rivera and 1 from Rocha.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,677,125 tests have been processed and 390,394 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 382,961 have already been recovered.

Today there was a death with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country (a detailed table is attached). So far, there are 6,065 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 1,368 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 14 of them are in critical care centers.

Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,406 correspond to health personnel. 9,320 of them have already recovered, 58 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.

As of today, all departments register active cases except Treinta y Tres.
