EHESP at the congress of the French Society of Public Health – October 13 to 15, 2021

From October 13 to 15, 2021, the French Society of Public Health (SFSP) is organizing its annual congress on the theme “Acting in a situation of uncertainty and controversy: what lessons for public health? “. Three days during which public health actors in France meet to share and discuss what risky situations and crises, in particular the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, have engendered in practices, research and public health policies. To foster discussions and participate in the debates of this 2021 edition of the SFSP Congress, several EHESP teacher-researchers and doctoral students who are members of the Doctoral Network in Public Health (RDSP) intervene, among others, on subjects related to mental health, occupational health, environment – health, innovation and decision support, relations between industrial actors and health policies, health prevention public… Participants are invited to interact with the EHESP teams at their joint stand with the WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Mental Health in Lille.

Friday, October 15, 2021

  • Mental health in the city during the health crisis – from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Introduction and moderation provided by Delphine Moreau – Professor in sociology at EHESP and Jean-Luc Roelandt, deputy director of CCOMS Lille

This session proposes to return to the way in which mental health issues were grasped during the epidemic at the local level using cross-research results and exchanges with actors involved during the confinements and after.
