In the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square in Manhattan these days you can see, among other things, the dress that the legendary singer (“Back to Black”, “Rehab”) wore at her last official concert, which caused a sensation worldwide because of Winehouse’s apparent disorientation . Other clothes, items of clothing and accessories such as heart-shaped glasses can still be viewed until Sunday.
On November 6th and 7th, more than 1,000 items will be auctioned in Los Angeles by Julien’s Auctions. All in all, millions of dollars in proceeds could then come together for a good cause – the money goes to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which aims to protect young people from alcohol and drug abuse. Winehouse had died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27.
