Situation report on coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay (10/12/2021)

Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,937 analyzes were carried out and 129 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.

Of the 129 new cases, 72 are from Montevideo, 25 from Canelones, 13 from Colonia, 7 from Soriano, 5 from San José, 2 from Lavalleja, 1 from Artigas, 1 from Cerro Largo, 1 from Maldonado, 1 from Paysandú and 1 of jump.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,666,188 tests have been processed and 390,234 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 382,844 have already been recovered.

Today there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country (table with detail is attached). So far, there are 6,064 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 1,326 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 13 of them are in critical care centers.

Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,395 correspond to health personnel. 9,309 of them have already recovered, 58 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.

As of today, all departments register active cases except Treinta y Tres.

CLARIFICATION:

The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 390,115. Today 129 new cases and a total of 390,234 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 10 cases were eliminated.
