KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) moved in the green zone throughout Tuesday’s trading (12/10). JCI closed up 26.57 points or 0.41% to 6,486.26 at the end of trading.
Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the increase in the JCI was supported by the strengthening of 9 of the 11 sectors on the IDX.
The sectors that strengthened the most were the health sector 0.41%, the property and real estate sector 1.15%, the transportation sector 0.91%, the non-primary consumer goods sector 0.79%, the financial sector 0.75%, the infrastructure sector 0 ,4%.
Then the infrastructure sector also rose 0.74%, the industrial sector 0.66%, the energy sector 0.36% and the primary consumer goods sector rose 0.08%. Only two sectors fell, namely the technology sector -3.26%, and the raw goods sector -0.34%.

The total trading volume on the IDX on Tuesday reached 24.10 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 19.04 trillion. There were 233 stocks that rose, 279 stocks that fell and 151 stocks that were stagnant.
Even though the JCI rose, foreigners actually recorded net sell or net selling of Rp 428.61 billion in all markets. Nevertheless, foreigners are noted to be diligent in collecting bank shares.
Even these banking stocks are among those that have been continuously collected by foreigners in the last few trading days ahead of window dressing.
Foreigners continue to buy shares in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) of Rp 532.4 billion. BBRI shares rose slightly 0.96% to Rp 4,220 per share. The total trading volume of BBRI shares reached 257.30 million with a total transaction value of Rp 1.1 trillion.
Shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) was also collected by foreigners amounting to Rp 404.2 billion. BMRI shares closed up 1.45% to Rp 117.64 million with a total transaction value of Rp 820.0 billion.

Foreign investors also noted net buy the third largest in shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) amounting to Rp 136.7 billion. BBCA shares closed up 0.90% to Rp 35,600 per share.
