The girl got lost on Sunday evening in the vicinity of the highest peak of the Bohemian Forest, Čerchov in the Domažlice region, about two kilometers from the border with Germany. She was on a family trip around Čerchov and Malinová hora.

The girl was sought by rescue teams of police officers from the riot police, traffic police, emergency and riot units, students from the police school, professional and volunteer firefighters. On Monday, workers from the Šumava National Park and foresters of the Domažlice Municipal Forests, who have experience in moving in a wooded landscape, came to help with technology.
