It all started when Wanda Hamidah wanted to do knee surgery for her son who is a basketball athlete. Feeling safe because they already have Prudential health insurance, it turns out that Wanda Hamidah’s expectations do not match reality.
The chronology revealed by Wanda Hamidah on her Instagram account, she has been using the insurance since 2009. At that time, Wanda Hamidah | register himself with his 3 children with a premium per person of Rp 500 thousand per month.
“I am a Prudential insurance user from 2009 / Red card. Me and 3 children.. 500rb/month. After Malakai was born, I added 1 more child to my insurance (health). Total of 5 family members,” wrote Wanda Hamidah seen on Tuesday (11/10/2021).
In 2020 Wanda Hamidah upgraded her insurance card from red to black, of course with an increase in premiums. Initially, the premium was IDR 500 thousand per person per month, so Wanda Hamidah had to pay per person between IDR 750 thousand to IDR 1 million per month with 5 family members.
“For almost 12 years we have used @id_prudential insurance, we have never used it,” he said.
“Until last Sunday my son who is a basketball athlete had knee surgery because he has been injured for 2 years and is not allowed to play sports (for an athlete, this is a heavy blow), “continued Wanda Hamidah.

Wanda Hamidah’s child’s knee surgery is estimated to cost around Rp 50-60 million. However, health insurance only covers Rp. 10 million.
“Anyway, my son’s surgery is estimated to cost around 50-60 million.. do you know how much @id_prudential wants to cover? 10 million, brothers and sisters.. if only 10 are covered, you don’t need insurance.. huhuhu.. I feel like I’m being scammed! Totally cheated..,” he said.
