Annecy and Bourg-en-Bresse at the top, the Red Star and the USCL humiliated. The 6th day of National offered a great spectacle. The Reds won 6-0 against the Audoniens, the Blues also put six in the Aries (1-6). SO Cholet also won 4-2 against Concarneau while Boulogne and Villefranche won by a score of three to zero. Stade Briochin took over US Orléans. Chateauroux opened the scoring just after the break against Sète, enough to win, while Laval won on the smaller of the Avranches field scores.
A total of thirty goals were scored this Friday in the National multiplex, one of the best totals in the history of the 3rd division championship. FC Annecy takes sole control, awaiting the Le Mans result on Monday against Sedan. Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas and FC Villefranche Beaujolais completed the podium. While they were struggling at the start of last season, the clubs of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes are there this season to play the leading roles. Concarneau and Châteauroux are in ambush. At the bottom of the table, Bastia Borgo is in great trouble, as are Créteil, Orléans and the Red Star.
