In the broadcast, Martien and Erica are guests of Maxime, who wants to decorate her baby room. But soon Maxime starts talking about the thought that she thinks her house is too small. “I can’t lose anything here. I can just put the vacuum cleaner under the stairs, it doesn’t fit at all.” Father Martien even speaks of a bad buy. Maxime says about this: “Yes, you misunderstand it during such a viewing. Then you all think ‘oh, it’s nice and smooth and all that’, but it is too small.”

The viewers of Chateau Meiland cannot appreciate Maxime’s comments. ‘A semi-detached house. Probably three bedrooms and a loft, and that spoiled brat complains it’s too small,” someone wrote on Twitter. Another: ‘Too small house? Shame on you!’ Someone else can’t handle Maxime’s ‘groaning’. ‘A 25-year-old talking about lack of space in her own house, because she has to put some boxes in the garage, cram her vacuum cleaner into a cupboard and the guy doesn’t have a game room of his own… Get your shit together!’

Shortly after moving into her new home, Maxime was still very enthusiastic about the house. She even gave an extensive tour, together with daughter Claire. In the video below you can see what the house looks like.
