airBaltic invites interested parties to the open air

The Latvian national airline airBaltic will start open-air steward days every other Thursday at 1 pm on October 14, the company’s representatives informed.

Currently, the company has started the selection of about 200 crew members, which will continue until the summer of 2022.

During the event, those interested will have the opportunity to meet with airBaltic’s recruitment specialists and existing flight attendants, gaining insight into their daily work and performing selection tasks. Those interested in participating in the event need a career path or CV.

airBaltic currently employs a total of 1,366 people, including 200 pilots and 342 crew members.

It has already been reported that the airBaltic Group’s turnover in the first half of this year was 49.963 million euros, which is 41.6% less than in the same period last year, while the group’s losses decreased three times – to 61.515 million euros.

The Latvian state owns 96.14% of the voting rights in airBaltic’s capital, while the financial investor, Danish businessman Lars Tussen, owns Aircraft Leasing 1 – 3.86%.
