The club: “In order to rule out any possible endangerment to our spectators, all kiosks in the public area will have to remain closed for the home game against VfB Stuttgart during the entire event; accordingly there will be no food and drink sales there.”

Due to the situation, however, a special regulation was decided. Accordingly, every single viewer is allowed to bring a non-alcoholic drink in a PET bottle or a Tetra Pak. However, other packaging, such as glass bottles, is prohibited.

RB boss Oliver Mintzlaff (46) has meanwhile also commented on the unfavorable situation: “This is very annoying news shortly before our first home game of the new season, because overall we are very proud of the renovation of the Red Bull Arena with all the great ones Innovations. But for us, the safety and health of our fans has always been our top priority and we are aligning all appropriate measures with this. “

The 46-year-old continues: “We tried everything to repair the damage, which unfortunately was not possible in the short time we had. To protect our fans, we are therefore closing all kiosks. Even if this diminishes the stadium experience, of course, hope let’s look forward to an atmospheric and hopefully successful floodlit football evening. “
