The British royals are increasingly turning their backs on Prince Andrew (61). Prince William sees him as a “threat to the monarchy,” it reads. And his brothers and sister also prefer to see Andrew stay in the shadows. The investigation into the prince’s sexual abuse is still ongoing, but a return to public life already seems out of the question.

Sources close to Prince William tell the Sunday Times that William is increasingly involved in decisions about the monarchy. “He’s not a big fan of his Uncle Andrew,” it reads. He would even see him as a threat to the entire institution. Because he comes across as “ungrateful” for his position, “a risk and a threat to the whole family”. There are reportedly crisis talks between Queen Elizabeth, heir to the throne, Prince Charles and William, the second in line.
Previously, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Charles, Andrew’s siblings, would have jointly decided that a public return is out of the question for Andrew.

Virginia Giuffre (38) says the prince abused her on three occasions when she was only 17. She was brought to him by Jeffrey Epstein. The latter can no longer provide clarity, because he took his own life in prison in 2019. Prince Andrew himself has always denied the allegations.
