Lima, Oct 09 (EFE) .- Atlético Grau won their promotion to the first division of Peruvian soccer, by being crowned champion of League 2 after beating Sport Chavelines 2-1 in Lima.
The northern team achieved victory with goals from Mario Ceballos after 4 minutes of play and from Paraguayan Delio Ojeda minutes before the end of the game.
In turn, Chavelines scored a penalty with their striker Matías Sen after 48 minutes at the stadium of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in the Peruvian capital.
Grau returns to League 1 after a year, while Chavelines will try to fish their place for 2022 in the playoffs that they will play with Carlos Stein and the third-to-last team in the league.
Chavelines won Phase 1 of the Second Division, but in the second stage they did not maintain the good initial performance and missed the opportunity to automatically promote. EFE
