Mauricio Macri welcomes academic life in Miami

The former president of Argentina Mauricio Macri will participate in a chair at “The Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom” (Florida International University) and will spend much of the first semester of 2022 in this state.

The invitation was sent by Carlos Díaz-Rosillo, former adviser to Donald Trump: “His experience as president of Argentina and his leadership in the implementation of free market policies offer the perfect combination of the type of leader that we seek to have them participate in this scholarship ”, he stated Diaz-Rosillo.

“It will be an honor to join the Adam Smith Center in 2022 to interact and be a mentor for future leaders in the field of public policy design, with a special focus on the progress of Latin America,” said Macri on his social networks.

During his first activities in the United States, Macri had the opportunity to share a meal with his former Minister of Economy, Nicolás Dujovne, and also presented his book “Primer Tiempo”.
