On Saturday morning, investigative journalist Piotr Nisztor informed that a working wiretap was found in the office of Cezary Kulesza, president of the Polish Football Association. It was supposed to be discovered Friday night.
The wiretap was hidden during a routine inspection by a specialist company. The police immediately questioned witnesses and photos of fingerprints from both the device and the housing of the heater on which the wiretap was installed.
The director of the office of the president of the Polish Football Association, Piotr Szefer, wrote on Twitter that the device has been secured by the police. The Polish Football Association also commissioned the inspection of other rooms in the building. Importantly, the device was battery operated, so it was planted a maximum of 90 days ago.
Sport.pl informed that the Polish Football Association submitted a notification to the prosecutor’s office about the possibility of committing a crime. The investigation will therefore only gain momentum. However, both Cezary Kulesza and his associates approach the matter very calmly.
