As a result of the global lockdowns, many children suffer from mental health problems. Save the Children says this after surveying 13,000 children in 46 countries.
Of those surveyed, 83 percent say they have negative feelings about the lockdowns.
Mental health problems
In a number of cases, this led to psychological problems such as depression and anxiety disorders. Many children also feel lonely. If not properly intervened now, children can also experience problems later in life, says Save the Children.
