Mortensrud murder: Still no arrests | ABC News

– The investigation will continue in full in the future, but we are reluctant to go into detail in the case as we will conduct many interrogations during the day, says head of Intelligence and investigation in Oslo police district Grete Metlid to NTB Saturday morning.

It was Thursday night that a 20-year-old man was shot at Mortensrud. He died Friday of his injuries.

The police were notified of the shooting, which took place outside Lofsrud school at Mortensrud in Søndre Nordstrand district at 22.22 on Thursday night. Witnesses at the scene reported that it had been shot several times.

Police helicopters and dog patrols were deployed in the search for one or more suspects in the case. Still no one has been arrested.

– It is a very comprehensive investigation. We collect large amounts of information that we have to analyze, and which we will eventually go out with, says Metlid.

She encourages the shooter and any other accomplices to report to the police.
