The Army Military Police Center (Puspom AD) said: Brigjen Junior Tumilaar removed from the position of Inspector of Military Command (Irdam) XIII/Merdeka. The one-star general is suspected of violating military disciplinary and criminal laws.
“Following up on the results of the clarification of Brigadier General TNI JT at the AD Puspom Headquarters, Jakarta, on 22, 23 and 24 September 2021 as well as the results of the examination of witnesses related to the statement of Brigadier General TNI JT, it has been found that the facts and unlawful acts were committed. by Brigadier General TNI JT,” said the commander of the AD Puspom, Lt. Gen. Chandra W Sukotjo, quoted as saying detik.com from the official Puspom AD website, Saturday (9/10/2021).
Layered articles were imposed on Junior. For the purposes of the military legal process, the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Andika Perkasa signed and issued a warrant for his discharge Junior.
“The unlawful act in question is a violation of the Military Disciplinary Law and a violation of the Military Criminal Law in accordance with Article 126 of the KUHPM and Article 103 paragraph (1) of the KUHPM. For indications of a violation of the Military Disciplinary Law and a violation of the Military Criminal Law, the Army Puspom will continue the legal process further against Brigadier General JT,” explained Chandra.
“And for the purposes mentioned above, the Army Chief of Staff on October 8, 2021 has issued a Release Order from the Duties & Responsibilities of Brigadier General TNI JT as Inspector of the Independent Military Command XIII to be assigned as Special Staff of Kasad,” continued Chandra.
Previously, Junior was questioned by the AD Puspom for sending a letter to the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The letter, which asked Babinsa not to need to be examined at the Manado Police, went viral on social media.
Junior Tumilaar Initially, he said there was a Babinsa accompanying a resident named Ari Tahiru (67). He said Ari was dealing with land conflicts in North Sulawesi. He said he was paying attention to Babinsa who was called to the police station.
