The councilor underlines the response of more than 80% of those summoned in the vaccination of 12 to 16 years | Radio Coruña

The municipalities of A Coruña, Oleiros, Cambre, Culleredo and Oza dos Ríos are still at a medium level of restrictions in this coronavirus pandemic after the meeting of the clinical committee that advises the Xunta de Galicia. On the Costa da Morte are at that level Carballo, Corcubión, Zas, Coirós, Ponteceso, Cabana and Malpica. At a high level are Sada, Betanzos, Carral and Cerceda and Fisterra, Laxe, Muxía, Cee, Camariñas and Vimianzo on the Costa da Morte. The Minister of Health, Julio García Comesaña, has underlined the success of the vaccination campaign for 12 to 16 year olds that began yesterday in the lowest age groups. The response of those summoned has been above 80 percent.

The highest cumulative incidence is currently being recorded in the age group 12 to 29 years.

García Comesaña has made a special appeal to pregnant women once the safety of the vaccine has been demonstrated in this situation and asks that they contact the health services to arrange a self-appointment. They are getting in contact by phone from SERGAS also in these cases.

Regarding the third dose of the vaccine, García Comesaña points out that Galicia will wait to implement it when there is scientific evidence of its effectiveness.
