This news will not please fans of the Netflix series! While he played for 4 seasons the character of Hiram Lodge, the father of Veronica, played by Camila Mendes, the actor Mark Consuelos announced that he was leaving “Riverdale”.
In a press release, relayed by Télé 7 Jours, the actor wishes to show his gratitude to the team and the fans of the series: ” First of all, I would like to thank Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (editor’s note: the showrunner) for this incredible opportunity. Playing such a bad character had never felt so good. Many thanks to the Riverdale fans, the brilliant team, the incredible cast, who I consider friends and family today.
