She completed the autobiography of the eternal Nightingale and this week sent the expected documentary Karel to cinemas. Ivana Gottová has had a challenging period and she already knows what she will do in the coming weeks and months. They will be mainly daughters Charlotte Ella (15) and Nelly Sofia (13).
It’s been a turbulent two years. Ivan arranged for Karel Gott a funeral with state honors in the Cathedral of St. Vita, she arranged a dignified grave in Prague’s Malvazinky and then began to devote herself to what she promised her husband before his death. She has completed his autobiography and the ceremonial premiere is already behind the documentary Karel, which fans had to wait over a year for due to the pandemic.
Now the widow of the Master realized it was time to rest. “I believe that you will agree with me that after two such demanding projects, Mrs. Ivana Gottová has the right to breathe a while and devote herself to her daughters, loved ones and friends,” Aneta Stolzová, a spokeswoman for Gott, told TN.cz.
Charlotte and Nelly will certainly appreciate that her mother will have more time for them. Dad’s departure was hard to bear, and the wounds on his heart had not yet completely healed.
“It has been two years since you have been with us, dear Karl. Our daughters are no longer girls, but big girls. You would certainly be very happy with them. We miss you very much! It hurts! Still the same, “Gott admitted last week.
