Lino Tempelmann
Lino Tempelmann (8 competitive games / 513 minutes): The native of Munich was already noticed by Klauß when he was still playing in the U15 of SpVgg Unterhaching, “since then I’ve followed his path”. That Tempelmann is a goalkeeper in disguise and maybe even a headball monster only 1.74 meters tall, Klauss would hardly have suspected either. With three goals, all of them headed, the 22-year-old loan from Freiburg is currently Nuremberg’s top scorer. The fact that Tempelmann has established himself as a dynamic driver and ball-safe strategist in the Nuremberg midfield after an initial phase of discovery came as less of a surprise to his coach. “I think,” says Klauss, “that we will still have a lot of fun with him.” If the sports club does not make use of its return option after this season.
