Great Britain with a red card to these 7 countries

The British government has left only 7 countries on the “red list” for international travel. Transport Minister Grant Shaps announced that the change would take place on Monday and was another step towards opening the country.

South Africa, Brazil and Mexico are among those removed from the “red list” of 54 countries. The only seven left now are Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Those arriving from them will continue to isolate themselves in hotels designated by the authorities for 10 days at their expense.

The changes are definitely good news for the aviation industry and the families that have been separated for a long time from the pandemic. There are also reliefs in the testing mode. Fully vaccinated, arriving from non-redlisted countries will only need an antigen test before departure and a PCR test on the second day after arrival, which will also be replaced by a cheaper antigen test at the end of October.

For the unvaccinated, PCR tests remain valid on the second and eighth day. All arrivals will continue to fill in a localization form.
