The test will be run on a homologated circuit by the Spanish Athletics Federation, but that will vary with respect to other editions due to changes in the mobility of the city. The organization will allocate 5,800 euros to cash prizes, with a special price of 1,000 euros for the athletes who break the records of the event, just as the Asturias record for the distance will also be awarded. The novelty of this year will be a medalla finisher for all those who complete the test.
From the Municipal Sports Board, EDP and Gijón Atletismo celebrate the return of the competition and trust that the health situation allows the normal celebration of the Gijón average. SER Gijón is the official broadcaster of the test.
