During the World Cup competitions in Ruka in November last year, there was a real quarrel between the Swedish skiers after a crash.
In SVT’s new series “Best when it comes to” Ebba Andersson is heard criticizing her teammates after Linn Svahn openly accused her of the crash.
– I’m damn disappointed with my teammates – or no by the way I can not even call them friends. I get singled out without having a fucking shit to do with it. It’s rather me who should be annoyed because I was about to fall, says Andersson in the series.
Svahn, who at first refused to talk to the media, said after the race that Andersson’s track change caused the crash where Svahn and Maja Dahlqvist lost their chances for podium places.
It was precisely the choice to talk about the public that Andersson reacted to.
– You should not do that. No matter how annoyed you are, you take it internally. I think it’s damn bad, she says.
Now the quarrel is over has long been resolved, but Ebba Andersson stands by her opinion.
– Of course I stand by what I said, if you think about it at that moment, but we have straightened that out so today I can really call them my teammates, but right there and then I did not feel it at all the way and I really stand for it. But as I said, we have straightened it out and are good friends again, she tells Aftonbladet.
“Best when it comes to” premieres on SVT on Sunday.
