The most expensive car in the world? There Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, an exclusive car made in just 3 specimens whose cost (estimated) is 20 million pounds which at current exchange rates are just over 23 million euros. It is not an absolute novelty since this gem on 4 wheels had been unveiled by the English brand in May 2021. But after the virtual presentation, this luxurious model finally showed itself in real life during the Concorso d’Eleganza of Villa d’Este which was held last weekend.

Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is made by hand, with an obsessive attention to detail, a completely bespoke car whose personalization was attended by wealthy customers. Just to understand the meticulousness of the car’s construction, just remember that the instrument panel was built with one technique called Guilloché, the same used to decorate luxury jewelry and watches. The dashboard is finished in anthracite-colored Kaleidolegno wood. The passenger compartment also features leather and carbon fiber upholstery. Inside we also find a refined Bovet 1822 watch and a collectible Montblanc pen.

The name of this model, it is not the first time that Rolls-Royce uses it, it is a reference to the design of the rear of the car inspired to the shapes of the hulls of luxury yachts.
