The first reports of the hack came after anonymous users posted a more than 100 gigabyte file collection on a forum during Wednesday morning Swedish time, reports Bloomberg. Later on Wednesday, Twitch, which is one of the world’s most popular streaming platforms for computer gamers, confirmed that an intrusion had occurred.
Exactly what the hackers came across, the company has not commented, but among the files on the forum are, among other things, what is said to be the source code and information about what several of the platform’s most profiled users gain from streaming content.
