According to the social authority, a total of 92,700 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 86,900 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value rises to 71.1
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days rose from 68.4 on Tuesday to 71.1 now. A week ago the incidence value was 61.9.
Four more corona patients in the intensive care units
111 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. That is two more people than last reported. 35 of them are treated in intensive care units. There was an increase of four people here. The number of Covid patients in hospitals is to play a greater role in the future when assessing the pandemic situation. However, according to the Senate, there are no specific limit values for the level of exposure to the clinics.
According to the RKI, a total of 1,744 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic.
