China Capable of Holding Full-Scale Invasion by 2025

TAIPEI – Tension between China and Taiwan have experienced a severe escalation in recent days. Hundreds of Chinese warplanes were detected flying into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone.

The development marks the latest retaliation by China against Taiwan.

Taiwan’s Defense Minister Chiu Kuo-cheng noted Wednesday that tensions between Taipei and Beijing have reached an all-time high after dozens of Chinese planes flew through Taiwan’s air defense zone.

He warned that a heated battle was likely only a few years away.

Taiwan’s defense minister’s remarks came during an appearance in parliament when he was asked to comment on Taiwan’s current military tensions with China.

He further reported in Taiwan’s parliament that China had made more than 100 flights across the country’s territory over the past few days.
