This event will be held under the aegis of the doctoral studies college, the 509 doctoral school “Mediterranean societies and human sciences” and the 548 “Mer et Sciences” doctoral school, in conjunction with the university’s research laboratories. of Toulon with the financial support of the Métropole Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée, the Departmental Council 83 and the three thematic poles of the university (Sea, environment, sustainable development; Information, digital, prevention; Mediterranean exchanges and societies).
This day will take the form of thematic workshops organized and led by doctoral students, under the scientific responsibility of the laboratories, with the aim of welcoming doctoral students and researchers from other French and foreign universities. This openness to other universities is essential to contribute to the national and international influence of the University of Toulon.
Doctoral studies make it possible to publicize the work of doctoral students within the national and international university community in the research fields of the University of Toulon, whether in formal and exact sciences or human and social sciences. It is therefore an important meeting for young research and for promoting the doctorate.
