Joker you Havre AC, Ismaël Boura was loaned out during the international October break by the RC Lens until the end of the season in order to allow him to harden himself in League 2. The 21-year-old left-back delivered his first words at a press conference on his arrival in Normandy. Appeared 25 times in the top flight, he felt his playing time was blocked this season with the Sang et Or and did not hesitate for long before going down a notch.

« It happened quickly. As soon as my agent told me that Le Havre was on me, I gave my answer. In Lens, it was complicated to have playing time. I said to my agent: if it’s the HAC who calls me, I go without hesitation.. Lens recruited for my post, it was difficult to find a place. I started against Rennes on the first day, I played 90 minutes and it went well. But afterwards, the coach made his choices and I respect them. I was comfortable, I didn’t have any pressure, I didn’t put pressure on myself like I did when I was little. I give the maximum and I have zero regrets. I have already made 25 L1 games, I did not expect it. I didn’t give up and in the end it paid off. I called Loïc Badé who was at the club before, he told me that the HAC was an L1 club, which has nothing to do in L2. I had other touches, but everyone knows Le Havre. The team is running well, the defense too, it’s a positive pressure. It motivates me even more to train with them and to show the supporters and the club that they can count on me. »
