Travel time to the location is about four hours. Elements involved in SAR operations, Sorong SAR Office Rescue, 3 people, RB 221 crew members, 10 people, Polairud 2 people,” said the Head of the Sorong Search and Rescue (Basarnas) office, Mochammad Arifin, Tuesday (5/10/2021) night.

Arifin added that the Sorong Basarnas deployed two ships each, a Rescue Car, 1 unit and 1 Raber Boslat 221 unit.

The ship was reported to be carrying 13 people while on its way from Sorong city to Fakfak Regency. As expected, they should arrive at Fakfak at 18.00 WIT, but so far the Regent and his entourage have not arrived in Fakfak Regency.
