The final DLC Fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was finally announced today. It’s Sora from Kingdom Hearts! According to Mr. Sakurai, he was the original winner of the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot from 2015. At the time, Sora was impossible to realize, but after all these years, we finally succeeded in making that wish come true. Purchasing Sora also gives you the Hollow Bastion level to battle on, plus nine new pieces of music. Also, if you have save data from Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, you’ll get an extra track! Of course, there are also new Spirits to unlock, including Riku, Aqua and Ventus.
It was subsequently announced that all DLC Fighters from Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will get another amiibo. We already have one from Min Min, Steve and Alex got a look. There are also three new Mii Fighter Costumes announced: an Octoling wig and a Judd wig from Splatoon, and the outfit from Doom Slayer! All of this DLC will be released on October 19.
