Rider Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia, it is realistic to look at the competition to reach the title MotoGP world champion 2021. The opportunity was closed before in Austin.
In the race MotoGP USA 20221, Marc Marquez is the winner. At the Circuit of The America, it was Yamaha rider, Fabio Qurtararo, who finished second. The podium is completed by Bagnaia.
In the MotoGP standings, Quartararo is getting stronger with a record of 254 points. He is 52 points off Bagnaia in second place.
With that result, Quartararo only needs 1 more victory to secure the 2021 MotoGP title. This season’s race only has 3 more series left.
Along MotoGP 2021, Bagnaia once failed to finish. He also failed to finish in the top 10 twice.
Bagnaia was aware that it would be difficult to catch Quartararo before the US MotoGP race. However, the Italiano admitted that he would not give up.
“I’m definitely not going to give up, but Fabio has done a great job this year: he was the fastest in the first half of the season and the most consistent,” said Bagnaia at GP One.
“I really know where I dropped points that fell out of my hands, because of mistakes and some problems, it wasn’t today. But, in the last few races I have been more competitive,” he added.
After the US MotoGP, MotoGP will take 3 weeks. The race will be held again in San Marino, MotoGP Emilia Romagna, on 24 October 2021.
